How Long Does The MOT Test Take?
The MOT test takes around 45 minutes, however please allow up to 60 minutes in case any minor repairs are needed.
Please arrive at 10 minutes before your MOT. You can wait for the test to be completed in our waiting area or if you wish you can drop off your car any time from 8AM.
If The Vehicle Fails, Is There A Charge For Retest ?
If your vehicle fails it’s MOT there is no charge for a retest if the retest is done within 10 days.
What If The Engine Management Light Is On The Dashboard, Will The Vehicle Fail The MOT?
YES, if the light is on the engine management on the dashboard of your vehicle that will fail the MOT test.
However we can plug it in to diagnostic machine before the MOT and let you know what the fault is.
How To Find Ireton Road Garage
Ireton Road is situated just off Maldon Road (B1022) in Colchester, Essex.
Simply follow Maldon Road from the roundabout where the Police station is and Ireton Road is the 4th road on the right.
Alternatively take Shrub End Road from the Colchester Recycling Centre, take a left on to Maldon Road when the road splits into two and Ireton Road is the 4th road on the left.
